Coloratura Soprano, Dora Cardona, has quickly established herself as one of the most sought after operatic Artists from Colombia . In the summer 2008, Ms. Cardona performed the soprano solo in the Requiem (John Rutter) and the Te Deum (Charpentier) with the Choir and Orchestra of the Pereira Tech University in Colombia . During October and November of 2008, Ms. Cardona delighted her Colombian audience performing the title roles in La Traviata and Lucia di Lammermoor with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Cali (Colombia) and to conclude a most successful 2008, Dora performed Handel's Messiah with the Boca Grande Chamber Orchestra of Florida. The 2009 Season found Ms. Cardona returning from Colombia where she enjoyed tremendous response as guest soloist with the Orquesta Filarmonica de Cali (Colombia) under the baton of guest conductor Eugene Sirotkine. . Ms. Cardona is a featured soloist with the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center Guild Annual Meetings as well as the Sarasota Italian Cultural Events, the Gulf Coast Colombian Alliance, the Ausonian Society, the Flanzer Jewish Center, and the Volunteer Ladies of Colombia, among other organizations. Other performance opportunities have include the roles of Agrippina in Poppea by Handel; Maria in Monkey see, Monkey Do by X. Rodriguez, Adina in L'elisir D'amore and Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti. Ms. Cardona's Oratorio experience includes Stabat Mater by Pergolesi; Cantata for Soprano Nulla in Mundo Pax by Vivaldi; Jephte by Carissimi; The Messiah by Handel; Coronation Mass bt Mozart); Requiem bt M. Haydn; and the American Premiere of Vespers by J.C Bach.

Dora Cardona studied voice at the Antonio Maria Valencia Conservatory with Professor Ivonne Giraldo where she sang the roles of Dido in Dido and Aneas by Purcell; Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart, Violetta in La Traviata by Verdi and Hanna Glawary The Merry Widow by Lehar.

Dora Cardona studies voice with Maestro Manny Perez in Miami where she resides.
