Holly Wilson Cole, Soprano
Holly Wilson Cole - Soprano- received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Music from Indiana University . In 2003 she performed Giannetta in L'elisir d'Amore with Indianapolis Opera. Earlier in her career, Ms. Cole performed such roles as Rosina, Cinderella, and Cherubino while studying as a mezzo soprano. She continued her career with Sarasota Opera, the Netherlands Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Central City Opera and Opera theater of Philadelphia. Awards Include a Richard F. Gold Career Grant, a Presser Foundation Music Award, and an Encouragement Award from The Metropolitan Opera District Competition. Recently Holly performed Aida (Act II) at the Dock Woods Art Center . In 2002 she performed Magda's aria “Chi il bel sogno” from La Rondine at the Logan Center East Concert. Later than fall, she was invited to perform the first act aria from La boheme with Stuart Neill in the Concert entitled “Stuart Neill and Friends” receiving rave reviews in Philadelphia for her singing and drama. Since then Holly Wilson Cole has performed the title roles of Tosca and hers first Desdemona from Otello with New Jersey Opera Concert. OPERATIC ROLES PERFORMED
