Joe Krupa, Concert Pianist
International Pianist, Joseph Krupa's Accompanying has taken him to the mid-west, Canada , and France where, along with his concert performing, he coaches with the eminent accompanists, Dalton Baldwin and Martin Katz. Continuing his study of piano performance, in the grand Romantic tradition & under the guidance of Alexander Fiorillo, Professor at Temple University, (and former student of the renowned Vladimir Horowitz), in 2007 Joseph took on the position of Head Coach / Accompanist with the Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, under the direction of Robert McFarland. In 2008 Mr. Krupa has added Opera Seabrook & the O pera C ompany of S outh J ersey to his list of responsibilities. Along with these new companies Joseph Krupa enjoys the Concert Opera Performances which include the operas I Pagliacci ; Amahl & the Night Visitors ; The Magic Flute ; & Rigoletto . Joseph holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Calgary ( Alberta , Canada ) and a B. A. degree from Rutgers University . He has appeared as piano soloist with various symphony orchestras, and has accompanied for opera and ballet companies such as Seattle Opera and Pennsylvania Ballet . While maintaining a growing schedule of solo piano recitals, Joseph Krupa continues to accompany both Vocal and instrumental Artists in recital throughout the Delaware Valley of Pennsylvania , Delaware & New Jersey . As an active member of the American Guild of Organists, Mr. Krupa currently serves as Organist/Pianist for the First Presbyterian Church of Salem, NJ. In addition, he continues to perform as Music Director/Accompanist for countless musicals throughout the elite music region of South Jersey . |
