International lyric soprano , Mary Huhmann, recently received rave reviews in The New York Times with her performances of Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro with Amato Opera as “a wonderful Susanna, comely, flirtatious and coy” and her vocal performance in The New York Sun as “excellent”. This quickly rising lyric soprano performed Lola Markham with equal success in Cantiamo Opera and Pacific Opera's production of Gallantry . Mary also received high acclaim for her portrayal of Abigail Adams in Surflight Theatre's production of 1776 .

The American soprano made her international debut in Buxton , England with the role of The Plantiff in Trial by Jury at The International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival .

Mary Huhmann continues to bring stellar performances in concert as a soloist with the Riverside Choral Society since, including four appearances at Lincoln Center 's Mostly Mozart Festival . She currently teaches Vocal Music at Ocean County Vocational Technical School's Performing Arts Academy .

Mary Huhmann received her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University .
